Temporal illusions are the result of our orientation in
time. Humans seem to
experience time in only one direction - away from the Big Bang.
Our past and future are asymetrical. However, when time is thought of as just another ordinary
dimension, like length or width, several of our common conceptions turn out to be illusions.
Temporal illusions:
- the past disappears, the future does not exist
- time "moves"
